  • Talk to it the way you talk

    Say «ولّع ضو الصالون» (turn on the living-room light) just as you would at home. It understands Palestinian Arabic, so there’s no need for formal Arabic, and it understands English too. If you have Alexa, you can connect that as well.

  • Heat the water on your way home

    The water is hot when you arrive, and the heater switches itself off after the time you set. Lower electricity bills and peace of mind.

  • Left the AC on?

    Switch it off from your phone, or have it switch off by itself when everyone has left the house.

  • Know when the house loses power

    If the power or the internet goes out at home you get an alert, and another one when it’s back.

  • Open the gate from anywhere

    For a guest or a delivery while you’re out, open the gate from your phone, and get an alert if it’s left open.

  • Yard lights at sunset

    Outdoor lights switch on by themselves at sunset and off late at night, even when you’re away.

Common questions

What happens if the internet goes down?

Your devices keep working from their normal switches at home. Phone control and automations come back as soon as the internet does.

Do I have to replace all my devices?

No. Darak works with devices from many brands, like Sonoff, Smart Life, LG and Samsung. We start with what you already have, and if you need new devices we suggest ones that are available locally.

Is the app in Arabic?

Yes. The dashboard is in Arabic and arranged by the rooms in your home. If you prefer English, we set it up in English.

Do I have to speak formal Arabic to it?

No. You talk to it in everyday Palestinian Arabic, the way you’d talk to someone at home. And if you prefer, you can talk to it in English too.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of your home and the devices you want. After our first conversation we give you a clear price, before you commit to anything.
